A Season of Divine Acceleration

Faithful followers of Jesus are stepping into a SEASON of DIVINE ACCELERATION.

There are some reading this post who are stepping into a period of DIVINE ACCELERATION. I’ve felt this word strongly for the last two days.

What is divine acceleration?

It’s a special and supernatural grace applied to your life so that things that normally take years — (a significant amount of time) — get done QUICKLY and SUDDENLY.

DIVINE ACCELERATION is when God does things
FASTER than we thought possible,
BETTER than we could have imagined, and,
makes us STRONGER in the process!

This involves areas like:
spiritual growth,
kingdom impact,
missions,
ministry,
revival,
Holy Spirit-driven church growth,
the desire for a God-honoring marriage,
the dream of a family,
the dream of having children,
advancement in your career,
breakthrough in your finances,
freedom from debt,
a turn-around in your personal health,
life-long dreams that you’ve held close to your heart,
and more.

Check out this passage from Amos 9.

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills…” —Amos 9:13 NIV

“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people…” —Amos 9:13 MSG

Don’t miss the power of the promise packed away in Amos.

God said, “The time is coming when you’ll PLANT and HARVEST on the same day!”

“Ready. Aim. Fire” will be replaced with “Fire. Aim. Ready.”

I’ll break it down.

Some of you have been praying to get out of DEBT in the next 5, 10, or 15 years. But today God is saying, “What if I do it in the next 5 months, 5 weeks, or 5 days?”

Some of you have been praying over a 5 or 10-year BUSINESS PLAN. That’s what great business leaders do! But what if God totally blows your mind and says, “What if I make it all happen in the next 6-12 months?”

Some of you have a 2-year PLAN when it comes to regaining your HEALTH! You’re developing a healthy eating plan. You’ve started exercising. You’re committed to getting proper amounts of rest. Great! All of these are important. Stay committed to the process. But other aspects of your health need more than a PLAN. They need POWER! What if today God interrupts your plans and says, “What if I HEAL YOU COMPLETELY, miraculously, and instantaneously, right now?”

That’s DIVINE ACCELERATION!

It’s when God does things
FASTER than we thought possible,
BETTER than we could have imagined, and,
makes us STRONGER in the process!

We’re so prone to think and say: “But, Chris, that’s impossible. It’s just too good to be true.”

I love what Graham Cooke once said.

ISOW has a dream of REACHING 1 MILLION PEOPLE for JESUS in the next 12 months by training 10,000 pastors who will each reach 100 people for Christ!

Impossible? Not if God’s in it.

My wife and I have a DREAM we’ve been praying into for some time. It’s a dream we hold close to our heart.

Humanly speaking, this dream is IMPOSSIBLE.

Thankfully, our GOD specializes in IMPOSSIBLE.

The prophet Jeremiah said it this way:

“I am the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” —Jeremiah 32:27

God’s response to whatever you’re praying about has already been recorded in His Word: It may be impossible for you and me, but “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE for GOD!”  (See Jeremiah 32:17, 27; Luke 1:37; Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27; Philippians 4:13)

This is a season of DIVINE ACCELERATION.

Step into it today.
